Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum Thursday 29 th July 11.00am – 4.00pm Those attending were spoilt for choice of painting and sketching subjects here, inside and out: the steam powered brickmaking machinery, the large collection of chimney pots and tiles, the Penny Arcade. Southampton & District Transport & Heritage Trust are based here with their collection of buses. Before we started, some of us enjoyed tea / coffee cakes at Wonderberry’s Café, now open seven days a week. More information about the collections and the full history of brickmaking at Bursledon is on the Museum’s website https://thebrickworksmuseum.org/ One of our members, Steve Whitehead is a resident artist at the Museum, with work for sale in their shop.
