2021 is the 150th anniversary of the consecration of St. Mary's Church Warsash, nextdoor to the hall where Warsash Art Group normally meet for first Thursday evening artist demonstrations and Tuesday classes.  Revd Nicky-Sue Terry, the joint vicar at St. Mary’s Warsash , has been delighted with the response from our members to paint and draw the church during this anniversary year. Some of us sketched in the churchyard in April and May. The front cover of the July edition of the   Warsash Parish News    featured the wonderful drawing Tina Shaw produced from her sketches; and August's cover has Joan Lee's mixed media painting of the cast iron lampost and lych gate (left), built up from her sketch in the churchyard. Wild Weather - Joan Lee - Mixed Media Below are the draft minutes of Warsash Art Group's 2020 Annual General Meeting, circulated to Members via email on March 1st 2021. All personal information has been removed to protect people's privacy. The Minutes will be signed when the Group can meet in person, the 2021 AGM being postponed from the due date, 4th March due to the Covid-19 lockdown. Minutes produced by Joan Lee, the current Secretary of Warsash Art Group.   Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Warsash Art Group Thursday 5th March 2020 -    St Mary’s Church Hall, Warsash, 7.30 pm Chairman Chris Francis (CF) welcomed Members to the meeting. There were 36 members, including eight members of the retiring Committee; and no visitors.
